With half an hour to go having left the house more clean, calm and sparkly than ever(why do we we do that!)with fog in the sky outside I imagine arriving in the beautiful sunshine and clarity in the sky and chaos on the ground in the wonder of Mumbai. Environmental role reversal!
If leaving for a few weeks away brings out the love and good wishes I have received in the past few days then I may have to make this a regular occurance!! Thank you to you all - your support means far more than you know and I feel I now owe it not just to myself but to you all to make this the adventure of a lifetime. Obviously its not me that can make this happen but I can be as open as possible to everything that India offers me and if I can approach all life in this way well.... who knows what can happen!!
You don't have to go to India to do this so lets all over the next few weeks simply be open to dreams we aspire to and everything that life gives us.. Keep me posted!!

The journey
After an amazing performance of the play of "Journeys End" at my daughters school last night with the audience leaving the theatre in silence and ponderance I thought it fitting to post the details of the Karma Enduro journey we will be taking. Well, thats the planned route! we'll roll with whatever India chaotically brings us
Obviously no sat nav, although I did look at my Tom Tom this morning and ask if it would like to come, but the romance of india would never seem the same with those dulcit tones telling me where to go!! No Tom Tom but sense of humour will definately be on board!

Words and intentions
Following a huge day yesterday where the power of numbers brought many people to a point of silence I was reminded of the power of intention and words that we use. Ever since I stopped naming this journey a "charity challenge" the nerves are stepping back and being replace by anticipation and excitement of the adventure ahead.
I am currently busy doing soul plan readings for people based on the sound of the letters of birthnames as sound is beginning, birth, creation, to help people understand the meaning of their lives, they are proving to be incredibly powerful for people in bringing peace and understanding to who they are and why they chose to come here -
I am off to halfords to buy a "here I am" horn! to make sure the beautiful sacred cows know I am coming!!
My gorgeous friend (you know who you are!) has inspired the decoration of the car from our childhood hilarity at Whacky Races and Penelope Pitstop... lipstick at the ready!!
and I will be putting the names of all my generous sponsors and donors on my dashboard , yes....you're all coming with me!!

Leading the way..
Today i saw the first posts from Si Smith, the owner and founder of Global Enduro as they are paving the way with Group A from Goa. Arrival of water purifying tablets the first sign of trip preparation happening. Interesting to see it is also raining there, quite unusual for this time of year in the south so will now search out a waterproof.. now making diary arrangements for xmas, can't really imagine what will happen between then and now.
But with the onset this week of 11.11.11 which is meant to be a portal of great change I guess it won't just be my life that will be changing between now and Christmas.

Realisations!
Realisations setting in now as someone I don't know has appeared on my facebook. He is Indian and I realise that in a couple of months I will have met and made so many friends from this wonderful country.
Had lunch yesterday with a friend who talked about the amazing book Shantaram. This is the third time I have come across it which is always my prompt to act! So it rests on my bedside table waiting to be consumed before I leave these shores.
There was talk about the slums in India and as my stomach started to churn over lunch reality was setting in that the launch of Awakening Events this year wasn't just to invite others to talks and workshops of an inspiring nature. My own personal Awakening Event may well be coming up in november...
